Sign in to the CrashPlan console

Overview

Use the CrashPlan console to manage additional settings, perform web restores, and troubleshoot errors. This article explains how to access the console from the CrashPlan app as well as from the web.

Before you begin

To access the CrashPlan console from the web you must know the URL of your CrashPlan console.

Console URLs are based on which cloud instance you are provisioned to and your product plan: 

From the CrashPlan app

Use the CrashPlan app to access the CrashPlan console sign in screen.

1. Open the CrashPlan app.
2. From Home, select Settings > General.
3. Click Manage account on the web.
   The CrashPlan console opens in your browser.
   
   
4. Enter the username and password for your CrashPlan account.
5. Click Sign In.
6. If necessary, select Administration.
   The CrashPlan console opens.

From the web

If you cannot access the CrashPlan app, you can access the CrashPlan console from any supported web browser:

1. Visit the URL for your CrashPlan product. If you don't know which URL below applies to you, consult the table above.
2. Enter your CrashPlan username and password.
3. Click Sign in.
   The CrashPlan console appears.
