Objective
This article explains how to sign in to the CrashPlan app and the CrashPlan console.
Shared sign-in session
Your sign-in session is shared between the CrashPlan app and the CrashPlan console. If you sign in to the web console, that user is also signed in to the app on that device. To change users, you must either sign out from the account menu in the console or use a command to sign out from the app.

Procedure
Option 1: Sign in from the CrashPlan app
- Open the CrashPlan app on your device.

Enter your CrashPlan username (this must be a valid email address).
If your company uses single sign-on (SSO) or LDAP, your CrashPlan username matches your SSO or LDAP username. Typically, this is the same username that you use to sign in to your computer.
- Click Continue. You will be redirected to the CrashPlan console in your default web browser to complete the sign-in process.
- Return to the CrashPlan app after completing the sign-in process in your browser.
Option 2: Sign in from the web
- Visit https://console.crashplan.com.
- Enter your CrashPlan username (this must be a valid email address).
- Enter your password, and if required, your two-factor authentication code.
- Click Sign in.
