Changing your subscription from monthly to yearly

Objective

This article walks you through the steps required to upgrade your CrashPlan subscription term from a monthly billing cycle to a yearly or two-year billing cycle using the CrashPlan console.

Prerequisites

  • You must have access to the CrashPlan console with Billing Admin permissions.
  • Downgrades are not available in the CrashPlan console. If you need to change from a yearly plan back to a monthly plan, please contact technical support.
  • This procedure only applies to subscriptions purchased online through Paddle. If you purchased CrashPlan via a direct purchase agreement or a Managed Service Provider, you cannot use the console to make this change.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to the CrashPlan console.
  2. Click License Plan.
  3. Click Change Plan.
  4. Select the yearly or two-year subscription term length.
  5. Review your estimated charge.
    Your payment method on file will be charged for the new subscription term, minus a prorated amount based on your current subscription term.
  6. Click Checkout.
