Objective
This article walks you through the steps required to upgrade your CrashPlan subscription term from a monthly billing cycle to a yearly or two-year billing cycle using the CrashPlan console.
Prerequisites
- You must have access to the CrashPlan console with Billing Admin permissions.
- Downgrades are not available in the CrashPlan console. If you need to change from a yearly plan back to a monthly plan, please contact technical support.
- This procedure only applies to subscriptions purchased online through Paddle. If you purchased CrashPlan via a direct purchase agreement or a Managed Service Provider, you cannot use the console to make this change.
Procedure
- Sign in to the CrashPlan console.
- Click License Plan.
- Click Change Plan.
- Select the yearly or two-year subscription term length.
- Review your estimated charge.
Your payment method on file will be charged for the new subscription term, minus a prorated amount based on your current subscription term. - Click Checkout.
