The Agent logs request history page in the CrashPlan console lists the most recent requests for a device's CrashPlan app logs, with a link to download the logs from each completed request. The logs download as a zip file that contains every CrashPlan app log on the device, including the user interface logs. What each log records is described in Read CrashPlan app log files.
To open the page, sign in to the CrashPlan console, select Administration > Environment > Devices, click the name of the device, and select Retrieve Logs from the action menu. Retrieving CrashPlan app logs requires a role with the viewlogs.device permission, such as Customer Cloud Admin or Org Admin. The permissions of every role are listed in the User Roles reference.
For a device that cannot connect to the CrashPlan cloud, collect the logs on the device instead. To send the logs to CrashPlan technical support, attach the zip file to your support ticket.
Request history list
The request history list on the Agent logs request history page in the CrashPlan console shows one request for the device's CrashPlan app logs per row, most recent first. Before the first request for a device, the page shows a summary of the logs a request retrieves in place of the list.

Email notification
Clicking Retrieve agent logs on the Agent logs request history page in the CrashPlan console opens the Retrieve log: Email notification pane, where you choose whether CrashPlan sends an email when the logs are ready and start the request:
- Yes, notify me at the following email address: Sends the notification email to the address entered.
- No, I don't need to receive an email. The status of the request appears only in the request history list.
- Apply: Starts the request, which appears in the request history list as "Retrieving...".
- Cancel: Closes the pane without starting a request.
CrashPlan sends the notification email when the logs are ready. The email includes:
- The device the logs were requested from
- The date and time of the request
- The user who made the request
- The date and time the logs expire
- A link to the request, which requires signing in to the CrashPlan console
