Updating the file verification scan schedule

Objective

Follow these steps to update your file verification scan schedule. You may need to change this schedule if the scan is not running at the desired frequency, or if you receive the following error when changing your backup schedule, "The chosen backup schedule is outside of the file verification schedule. Choose a different backup schedule, or update the file verification schedule."

Environment

  • CrashPlan console

Procedure

  1. Sign in to the CrashPlan console.
  2. Navigate to Administration > Devices.
  3. Click on the name of device for which you want to update the file verification scan.
  4. From the device's details, click the action menu settings-gear-console.png in the upper-right corner and select Edit.
  5. Click the Backup tab.
  6. Change the Preferred time for verification scan setting as needed.
  7. Click Save.
