Fixed issues where:

  • CrashPlan for Small Business customers could see an error when attempting to view the Device Backup section of the CrashPlan console. 
  • New CrashPlan Essential, Professional, and Enterprise customers would receive an error when logging in for the first time. 
  • Some customers were unable to view the License Plan page in the CrashPlan console.
  • Certain CrashPlan for MSP customers were unable to restore files from the CrashPlan app.

  • The “reset password” option for users in the CrashPlan console now applies to invited users whose initial password reset link has expired.
  • All CrashPlan product plans may now use a unified installer, starting with CrashPlan app version 11.3.0. A unique install package for CrashPlan for Small Business is no longer required.
  • Performance improvements.

Bug fixes

Fixed issues where:

  • Signing out from the CrashPlan app as one user and then attempting to log in as another valid user would result in an error.
  • The CrashPlan cloud authority would mistakenly send upgrade commands when the device operating system is unknown.
  • Permission issues prevented users with certain roles from signing in to CrashPlan.

Bug fixes

Fixed issues where:

  • A CrashPlan customer that cancels their subscription and deactivates their account would receive an error message when attempting to create another account with the same email address.
  • New CrashPlan Essential and Professional users would not receive correct default user roles. 
  • Some API calls would not work correctly.
  • The file versioning and retention setting in the CrashPlan Console would display an incorrect minimum value.

Bug fixes

Fixed issues where:

  • Users with the Identity Management Administrator role were unable to add an identity provider via URL.
  • A device restore could fail under certain conditions.
  • Default hidden file names were not correctly provisioned during new account creation.
  • Selecting “Restart Backup Engine” from the Device Detail page in the CrashPlan console would prevent a user from logging in to the CrashPlan app.
  • Users would receive an error when attempting to configure User Profile Backup in the CrashPlan console.
