General stability, reliability, and bug fixes across platforms.
Support for macOS Golden Gate.
Security updates (12.1.1): The CrashPlan app updates the bundled Java runtime and no longer trusts the eMudhra intermediate certificate authority (CVE-2026-91403).
For more information, see the release notes for version 12.1.0 and version 12.1.1.
Release rollout schedule
Due to the fast-follow release of version 12.1.1, the original 12.1.0 rollout schedule has been superseded. Endpoints will bypass 12.1.0 and receive expedited client upgrades directly to version 12.1.1 over the course of 3 days from the release date.
Delayed client upgrade exceptions still apply, and administrators can delay this upgrade for up to 60 days by configuring a global delay or organization exception. For more details, see Supported app versions and automatic upgrades.
