Message 'Check the server address' when signing in

Problem

When attempting to sign in to the CrashPlan console, the message "Unable to sign in. Check the server address." displays during the login process.

Cause

This message appears if the username you are using to sign in is present on more than one of our authentication servers. To proceed, you must specify exactly which server environment you want to access.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, you must use the specific console URL associated with your subscription and account rather than the generic login page.
