Enhancements and updates

New feature: SharePoint Archiving

Introduced SharePoint Archiving (labeled as Capacity Savings in the CrashPlan console), a new policy-driven archival feature that helps organizations reclaim Microsoft SharePoint document storage by converting low-activity files into lightweight URL stubs.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where SSO fallback login was not working correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where EWS and Capacity Savings consent could reset during the SSO consent flow.
  • Corrected a memory issue affecting large file downloads to improve stability during large restores.
  • Fixed an issue where Google Workspace web-based login restrictions did not correctly block access.

New feature: OneDrive Archiving

Introduced OneDrive Archiving (labeled as Capacity Savings in the CrashPlan console), a new policy-driven archival feature for Microsoft 365 that reclaims primary storage by converting low-activity files into lightweight URL stubs.

  • Expanded Exchange backup scope to include hidden recoverable folders (such as deleted item recovery structures).
  • Added the ability to download failed backup item reports in Excel format directly from the Backup Activity Summary.
  • Added company name and patch version metadata to Azure User-Agent Headers for Azure Blob storage.
  • Added a notification banner that prompts users to reload the CrashPlan portal after a new patch deployment.
  • Expanded license key visibility in the License Key Management interface to display complete license contents and product entitlements.
  • Added storage threshold visibility and warnings for Google Workspace workloads (Gmail and Google Drive).
  • Automated the Google admin consent flow.
  • Streamlined the identity provider onboarding workflow to handle consent and OAuth flows in parallel.
  • Added support for file recovery onto alternate endpoint devices via automatic folder handling.

  • Fixed an issue where switching between Google and Entra-based identity providers could cause tenant configuration details to be lost.
