When looking at the CrashPlan app, my estimated time to complete the backup is very long. Why is the backup estimating a long time to finish uploading my files?

This CrashPlan service message in the app shows the backup is running, and the estimated time may fluctuate as the backup progresses through your files. If the backup includes files that are very large, application files, or operating system files, it may take more time to complete the backup.
The backup will prioritize newer files, so the average size of your files can affect the time it takes the app to finish process and upload your files to the destination. If you have multiple destinations, CrashPlan will prioritize backup to the destination that will complete the backup in less time.
If the estimated time until the backup completes is too long you may increase the speed of your backup.
