Problem
When updating the file selection in the CrashPlan console Device Backup Settings menu, clicking Save does not confirm that the file selection was updated.
Environment
This affects users updating their file selection in the CrashPlan web console after taking the following steps:
- Navigating to a device's Device details page.
- Selecting Edit > Backup > Select Files.
- Changing the file selection and clicking Save.
Resolution
To verify your changes were applied, follow these steps from the Select Files menu:
- Click Save after changing the file selection.
- Click Cancel to close the Select Files window.
- Re-open Select Files to confirm the changes. The menu will show the saved file selection.
