Your backup status report (Small Business)
For all CrashPlan for Small Business users, we send regular backup status reports to keep you informed about the health of your devices' backups. This guide explains the information in your backup status reports and shows how to configure when these emails are sent.

CrashPlan for Small Business support site.
Areas of concern
The number of your devices that have an area of concern, such as a long time since the last backup activity or an incomplete backup.
Troubleshoot areas of concern.
The name of one device under your CrashPlan for Small Business user account.
This is a setting on your device, not a name configured in CrashPlan for Small Business.
Date and time
The date and time when the backup status report was generated, in UTC-0.
An indicator of this device's backup status.
Green: This device's backup is normal.
Yellow: This device has not started a backup.
Red: This device has not connected in several days.
Details about this device's backup.
Destination name: The name of the backup destination, such as CrashPlan PRO Online or a local folder.
Last backup activity: The last time this device connected to this destination.
Last completed backup: The last time this device completed a backup to this destination.
Selected for backup: The amount of data selected for backup to this destination from this device.
Configuring backup report delivery
You can configure your weekly backup status reports
from the CrashPlan console.
Your CrashPlan for Small Business administrator can also configure report settings for everyone in your organization.
Configuring backup reports from the CrashPlan console
Sign in to the
CrashPlan console. Go to
Devices > Active. Choose a device to view its details.
Click the action menu
and choose Edit. Go to
Reporting. Change your backup report settings.
