The CrashPlan agent will undergo branding updates as part of the version 11.0 agent release. The updated version will be released no earlier than March 9, 2023.
Action required for macOS devices
Due to macOS security requirements, full disk access will need to be re-allowed for the updated CrashPlan app. If full disk access is not provided, the CrashPlan app will no longer be able to back up files. To ensure that backups continue to run once the new app is released, follow our steps to grant the CrashPlan app full disk access. If you complete these steps before the release, you will need to complete them again after the release. We will communicate again once the update has been released to let you know that it is time to follow the steps.
