In certain circumstances, the CrashPlan app may display the message "Cache:Queued" when the device has a slow or unreliable connection to the backup destination.
Under the hood
This message appears only when the connection between the device and the destination is unreliable. "Cache:queued" indicates that the device is prepared to send backup data but is waiting to connect to the destination.
To resume your backup, connect to the destination using a more reliable network or physical connection and follow the steps below.
- Open the CrashPlan app
- Double-click the CrashPlan logo in the upper-right corner
The CrashPlan command-line area opens
- Enter this command:
- Press Enter
- Close the CrashPlan command-line
The CrashPlan app reconnects to the destination and resumes backup
