Can CrashPlan back up when my computer is asleep?

No. CrashPlan can't back up when the source or destination computer is asleep or off. Backup will resume after the computer wakes up or is powered on.

Why am I getting an alert email even though I am successfully backing up to a destination?

If a computer has not connected to our servers to report progress, you'll receive an alert, even if you are successfully backing up to local folders or destinations.</description>
