Setting Backup Frequency
The Backup Frequency setting determines how often CrashPlan backs up a new version of your files.
Considerations
- Although CrashPlan is designed to work without slowing down your computer, increasing the frequency of new versions does cause CrashPlan to work harder and you might detect a change in performance.
- You need to have the “watch in real-time” setting enabled so that CrashPlan can scan for and flag changes.
- Only CrashPlan+ users can increase the backup frequency to more than once a day.
