Backing Up Your Entire Family
Overview
CrashPlan+ Family plans allow you to back up as many as 10 computers under a single account. Family plans are perfect when you have several people in a household who need to back up their computers. If a son or daughter goes away to school, his / her computer can still be protected under a family plan.
Considerations
- All the users in your family will log into CrashPlan+ using a single email address and password.
- All the computers in your family will be able to access / restore each other's backup.
- When there is a CrashPlan+ update, the software will be automatically updated on all the computers in your family.
- Your new subscription replaces your old one. That means that your old subscription will end (even if you still have time remaining) when you buy a new one.
- You can cancel your subscription and get a pro-rated refund for any unused months (you will be charged for the current month), and then start your new plan.
- Alternative: If you already have a CrashPlan+ trial or subscription, consider waiting until your trial/subscription is nearly over before purchasing a new subscription.
